Escape to Ellender Estate vineyard to celebrate the grape growing season and the 2012 harvest.  The day will begin with a walk through rows of hand-tended vines led by viticulturist, vigneron and owner, Graham Ellender.  You will spend the morning learning about the vineyard, testing for ripeness, the selection and picking of grapes in the vineyard for sparkling wine.

Return to the winery to take part in loading the basket press and pressing the grapes.  Learn the secrets of making Méthode Traditionnelle.

You will have a tasting and a well deserved Harvesters Lunch matched with Estate wines.
