Each season, Alla Wolf-Tasker invites several of Australia’s most
interesting chefs to share their signature dishes with a key “foodie” audience
in the Lake House demonstration kitchen.
These very special days are always highly popular with both passionate home
cooks and professional chefs and we do suggest you book early.
In Spring 2010, we
welcome Andrew McConnell, Chef and Co-Owner of Melbourne’s two hatted Cutler
& Co and also Cumulus Inc. Andrew’s imaginative, award winning
menus draw audiences from all over Australia. He is also a very informative
presenter. Much banter between Alla and Andrew can be expected over cutting
edge technique and the best sources of produce in the region.
Alla will also be introducing Age Good Food Guide 2010 Young Chef of the Year
winner Nicholas Poelaert of Restaurant Embrasse. Undeniably French, Nicholas’
pretty as a picture dishes pay homage to seasonal produce and herbs and flowers
from his own garden.
We are awaiting
confirmation from the third participating chef. The line up as always also
includes key local growers and producers, offering samples and explaining their
production methods.
Hosted by Alla in her inimitable and entertaining style, this is a
day of learning, entertainment and fun with a room full of like minded participants.
