
Sault Restaurant is set amongst beautiful Lavender fields, with sweeping views across its very own lake, to the Wombat State Forest. The Sault experience begins from the moment you arrive and walk through the gardens, the friendly service at your table, the delicious food (often utilising regional produce and Sault’s own herbs & vegetables), and a most unique atmosphere, rarely found when dining out.
Sault has also become well known as a wedding & function venue, and offers the exclusive use of the restaurant & the surrounds to those who want something special. All private bookings are by arrangement.
Our head chef is Cindy Crozier.Cindy is originally from Kyneton and so has a strong connection with our abundant region and fabulous local farmers and suppliers. She has worked all over the globe from Midsummer House in Cambridge UK to Aria Restaurant in Sydney. Her style of cooking has a European feel and melds well with Saults French style setting.

Sault’s ‘Local’s Night’ is Wednesday, and it’s a wonderful chance for those in the area to enjoy a great night out. Every week a new menu is devised, including a choice of three entree’s, three mains, and three deserts, plus a chef’s special. Diners can purchase a main course meal with a glass of house wine for just $22.50, entree and desserts for no more than $9.50.
Sault also offers a Friday lunch special of 2 courses and a glass of wine for $40.00pp.
