Michel Mussett has had a rapid rise to success.

When she first set up in November 2002, Michel's fruit mince pies and hazelnut shortbread were the mainstays of her business. Such was the demand, her range expanded to incorporate 25 fabulous varieties of meticulously handmade sweet and savoury biscuits and fruit mince pies.

Within eight months of starting business, Michel's Fine Biscuit Co. was awarded "Best Business of the Year" in Castlemaine and was a top three finalist in both "Industry and Manufacturing" and "Business Person of the Year" categories.

Michel uses only the finest ingredients to make her biscuits: Belgian couverture chocolate, fresh raspberries, blackberries, lemons, pistachios, macadamias, pecans, hazelnuts, Tasmanian vintage cheddar and the best and plumpest dried fruits. Her products contain no preservatives, colourings or additives.

Michel's dedication to quality has already attracted export opportunities.
